William F. Losch Jr. went to work for the Douglas Aircraft Company in Santa Monica California after his 1940 graduation from Washington State College. An engineer assigned to Douglas' Production Engineering Group, Losch became involved with fuselage production for the C-47 at the company's Long Beach plant. Thomas A.
